Aero-Sense TKS De-icing Fluid 200Lt
Aero-Sense TKS De-icing Fluid 200Lt
Aero-Sense TKS de-icing fluid is used to prevent or fight in-flight icing on aircraft equipped with TKS ice protection systems. Among other, Diamond, Cirrus, Beechcraft, Cessna, Piper, Mooney, Kodiak, Hawker aircraft are equipped with the CAV-TKS “weeping-wings” system: laser-drilled titanium panels on the leading edges of the wings and tail surfaces. A traditional slinger-ring provides ice protection on the propeller. Working as a freezing point depressant, TKS de-icing fluid flows over the protected surfaces and keeps the aircraft ice-free. As the TKS system is used, the fluid flushes out any accumulation of debris on the panels. TKS de-icing fluid is a glycol based product. Glycol doesn’t harm the (un)painted, metallic and plastic surfaces of the aircraft and will not cause any performance loss; only significant ice protection capabilities are added. Aero-Sense TKS de-icing fluid can also be used for ground de-icing of aircraft.
Aero-Sense is one of the leading European producers and providers of TKS de-icing fluid. Each batch is carefully analyzed so that viscosity, freezing point, pH value and many other parameters are respected. Before packaging, the fluid is filtered down to 0,5 micron to prevent debris blocking the laser-drilled titanium leading edges.
